Its been awhile

I have been really busy with my duties and also has been sick for quite some time thus I had really no time to update or even say hello to my blog.

I am currently enjoying my job. I love it. The pressure and all. I am thriving on it. I like the way how I am guiding my specialists. A lot of my time is spent in trying to come up with ways to make it better for them.

I just missed writing.

Wanted

Two words to describe this movie is KICK ASS!!!!  and I'm not just talking about Angelina's beautiful naked ass here but that doesn't hurt either.

It stars James McAvoy as an ordinary joe who has a crummy job, a cheating girlfriend, an ass for a bestfriend, no money and a fat boss from hell. Life basically sucks for him. All of this changes when he meets the character played by Angelina named Fox( oh hell yeah she is one foxy lady indeed) Here he is brought into the fold of the Weavers a group of assasins who has been in existence for thousands of years. They are to bring order to this chaotic world.

One of the best aspect of the movie is the premise of curving the bullet. It can be used in a lot of tactics in assasination. The tools, the gadgets and the mind play between the different assasins was simply superb.

I just cannot help in gushing about this movie.

Again I don't really like to divulge anything else on the movie. I would highly recommend that you watch it.

The Happening

I'm not a big fan of M. Night Shyamalan and the only movie I enjoyed was actually the 6th Sense. All the rest of his movies left me with a feeling of blahness.

I like Mark Wahlberg in the Shooter but somehow his acting here came out as constipated. His wife played by Zooey Deschanel looks gorgeous even if she is wide eyed in panic mode. That for me is the only redeeming factor; oh wait I liked the musical score of the movie.

Its premise is something mysterious is killing off humans in densely populated areas. As it goes on and on it starts to target smaller and smaller groups. It is believed that terrorists are behind the attacks. Until they start going to one crazy idea to another.

I dont really want to spoil the plot of the movie as I think that should be the only one left to be told of this mundane film. I would say that the plot would have been a better book.

To me either have someone pay for your ticket or wait until it shows in cable. My opinion it was just a waste of money.

The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian

We are afraid of the things that we do not know of or do not understand. It is human nature to think if you are not with us you are against us.

The latest installment in CS Lewis classic tale. This is darker in its mood and theme. It is about treachery and betrayal yet it is also about hope. It chronicles the story of Prince Caspian (Ben Barnes) who is usurped by his power hunger uncle Lord Miraz (Sergio Castellitto)for the throne.

He fleds to the woods of Narnia which was said to be once inhabited by monsters now extinct. His people, had actually done the killings centuries ago. In the woods he encounters the said monsters and this is the start of his story.

The kids are back, a bit more mature and filled with their experiences as High king, king and queens of Narnia. Even King Edmund say it sounds confusing. They land in a more savage Narnia where ultimately they will cross paths with Prince Caspian.

A lot of sword fighting, tactics and memorable scenes. The landscapes are beautiful. A lot of contrast of light and dark, setting the mood. The bright environment of Narnia and the gloomy atmosphere of the castle of the Telmarines. The armored units of the Telmarines while marching and going through their formations was such a beauty to behold. This is the war machine called the Telmarines who had indiscriminately slaughtered the Narnians centuries ago and is now set to finish them all.

There is even a short scene with the White Witch.

This is a really good movie with action, a bit of romance and memorable characters. I would recommend that you watch it.

The very first

The honeymoon is over come Monday I'll be handling my very first team. I actually don't know the people that I'll be handling. I have mixed feelings about this. I am afraid of them. I'm afraid that they won't like me, that my style would not be something that they will understand and be open to. Most of all  I'm afraid of failing them. I am my own worst critic.

Yet I am also excited of helping them out, of molding them just like those that have molded me to the person I am today. I am excited of hearing their thoughts and dreams. I would like to be a part of the hand that will guide them. I would laugh with them, feel their despair, make them realize their potential and help them grow. I would like to be a part of their journey even if its just for awhile.

I am glad of those before me that had believed in me. I would like to extend this and believe in the people that I would be handling. It is my turn to return the favor. It is time for me to make others shine as well.

Please be gentle with me, my children as I am new to this. This is like my happy father's day.

Weekend rest

Well I'm still in rest day after a 5 day training period to make me ready in assuming my sup position. First two days was spent in trying to cram in everything about Aspect. From watching the CMS, jotting down meeting times and allowing personals. It was a bit confusing as you will be really doing a lot of things all at the same time. T

he next two days was spent in looking over other supervisors doing their admin and coaching work with their agents. I got a lot of tips and information as well as got to know the people that I would be working with more closely. I have to admit that I didn't know some of the things about them, pleasant things that I hope will make working with them smoother. My last day was spent in hearing them will taking sup calls. Most of them of course are already mad, furious, frustrated and at times very difficult. This is huge leap from the problems I had faced before. I saw how they found resolutions, make decisions and inform the customers.

I would like to thank all those that had shared their experiences to me. The tasks seem daunting first but I believe that I would be able to do them. This is something that I had wanted from day one. This is the culmination of all the things that I have worked for. I would like to repay the trust given to me and prove that I am indeed worthy. Tomorrow will be the first day I assume my responsibilties. I am excited as well as nervous of tomorrow. I say to myself believe in myself. I am no cinderella I need to work for this.

Kung Fu Panda

Come on who doesn't think that bears are cute especially panda bears. So when the weekend came I did not pass up the chance to watch this. If the two previous movies kinda disappointed me this made it up. To say that it is funny is an understatement. This is side splitting, fart inducing, tears in yours eyes funny. From the very start till the very end it had me laughing.

It stars Po a panda bear voiced by Jack Black. He dreams of being a kung fu master like the Furious Five composed of Tigress(Angelina Jolie), Viper (Lucy Liu) Monkey ( Jackie Chan), Crane(David Cross) Mantis(Seth Rogen) and to be trained under their master Shifu ( Dustin Hoffman)

Big dreams for a big panda who is currently working in his father's noodle shop. The day comes that the dragon warrior, the hope of all is to be chosen. Everyone goes especially Po who wants to watch his idols in action. This starts the crazy adventures.

It is funny, it had a very good storyline and the jokes kept on coming. The animation was beautifully rendered. It looked like ancient China.

I haven't laughed that hard for such a long time and would suggest that you watch it. It is highly recommended!

So go and prepare to feel the thunder!!!
